Her experience in the social services field encompasses over 25 years of working as a case manager, licensing professional for foster and adoptive parents and mental health therapist. Rosemary earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri, Columbia and a Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Her initial work as a case manager involved meeting with abused and neglected children and their families. This transitioned to a mental health therapist position for families, couples, adults and geriatric clients. Rosemary learned that people of all ages benefit from therapy and often carry the scars of the injuries that they experienced as children. Rosemary offers an accepting, calming presence (she is often told that her voice is very relaxing) and she provides a safe environment for her clients to process, heal, and move forward with their lives. Rosemary finds that clients enter therapy with the need for acceptance, tools to change thought patterns and behaviors, and direction. Rosemary works in a partnership with her clients to move in a positive direction toward achieving the goals that the client chooses. Rosemary offer assistance with symptom management, validation, and empowerment.
